ALK and non-small cell lung carcinoma: ALK gene rearrangement is called the “diamond mutation.”2, 3, 4, 5 To date, several ALK‐TKIs have been established as standard treatment options, and some real‐world studies have suggested that patients with advanced ALK positive NSCLC may live for approximately 7 years6, 7 after sequential use of multiple generations of ALK‐TKIs.
