Similarly, the levels of soluble ADAM33 were also significantly higher in COPD patients (2.188 ± 1.142 ng/ml; 95% CI 1.807–2.569) as compared to that in non-COPD individuals (0.487 ± 0.105 ng/ml; 95% CI 0.447–0.526; P < 0.001; Fig. 2). The gene discussed is ADAM33; the disease is chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
