For infection-related biomarkers, H1N1 patients’ C-reactive protein and procalcitonin levels (median C-reactive protein level, 44.96 mg/L [20.36–77.75]; median procalcitonin level, 0.16 ng/mL [0.05–0.61]) were higher than patients infected with COVID-19 (median C-reactive protein level, 32.08 mg/L [12.08–36.30]; median procalcitonin level 0.07 ng/mL [0.04–24.7], Table 2).
