It was noted that the protein expression levels of E2F-1, NF-κB, and T216-GSK-3β in the hippocampus of the AD model group were significantly higher than those of the sham operation group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); while there was no significant difference in the expression level of GSK-3β protein in the hippocampus of rats between the two groups (P > 0.05). Here, E2F1 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
