Furthermore, it was shown that dual inhibition of LOX/COX enzymes (using 5,8,11,14- eicosatetraenoic acid (ETYA) and general inhibition of LOX enzymes (using Nordihydroguaiaretic acid (NDGA)) caused strong growth inhibition in SKBR3(breast cancer cell line), ZR75 (breast cancer cell line), T47D (breast cancer cell line), and COLO205 (colon cancer cell line) cells.
