Several studies have shown that NLRP3 can be a target for improving memory impairment in diabetes [14–16], sepsis-associated encephalopathy [17], hypoxemia [18], epilepsy [19, 20], Alzheimer’s disease (AD) [21, 22], intracerebral hemorrhage [23], cerebral ischemia [24], and aged [25]. Here, NLRP3 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
