NPPB and hypophosphatemia: The clinical and laboratory characteristics of the hypophosphatemic patients and the remaining low normal patients of quintile 1 were not different, with the exception of lower NTproBNP: 869 (972) pg/mL versus 1203 (1813) pg/mL, p < 0.001; and lower serum calcium: 2.31 ± 0.16 mmol/L versus 2.37 ± 0.14 mmol/L, p < 0.001 in patients with hypophosphatemia (not shown in Table 1).
