INS and Hypertension: Among women of reproductive age (Table 3), pregnancy (aRR = 3.05; 95% CI = 1.86–5.07), older age(p-trend < 0.0001 across age groups; RR = 2.32; 95% CI = 1.54–3.48 comparing 40–49 to 20–29 years-old groups), asthma (aRR = 1.80; 95% CI = 1.29–2.52), diabetes (treated without insulin aRR = 2.39; 95% CI = 1.46–3.89, requiring insulin aRR = 31.89; 95% CI = 16.78–60.60), hypertension (aRR = 2.02; 95% CI = 1.29–3.16), IDU (aRR = 3.97; 95% CI = 2.44–6.43), and problematic alcohol use (aRR = 3.05; 95% CI = 1.86–5.02), were factors significantly associated with higher risk of hospital admission.
