As shown in Figure 5, the levels of phosphorylated-p38MAPK, phosphorylated-ERK 1,2 (p-ERK), and phosphorylated-MEK (p-MEK) in rats with type 2 diabetes-induced neurodegeneration were increased significantly compared with the control group (p < 0.01).
