In a BaLB/c mouse-bearing (4T1 breast cancer) model, when intravenously co-injected with iRGD, a tumour-penetrating peptide, THP accumulation in the tumour was elevated, leading to increased expression of IFN-γ and INF-α cytokines, lower tumour growth rates (74.2% compared to the saline group), and cell death. Here, IFNA17 is linked to neoplasm.
