To verify whether the expression of the miRNAs known to bind the 3′UTR region of NLRP3 is different in AD and HC, and whether such expression can be modulated by D4T, we analyzed the expression of miR-7-5p, miR-22-3p, miR-30e-5p, and miR-223-3p in PBMC of AD and HC that were either unstimulated or LPS- and Aβ42-stimulated in the absence/presence of D4T. This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and Alzheimer disease.
