Moreover, we searched for possible targets for a CBD-mediated vasoprotective mechanism in hypertension, focusing on endothelium- and cannabinoid-related vasomediators, i.e., NO, COX derivatives, intermediate and small calcium-activated potassium channels (KCa3.1 and KCa2.3, respectively), the cannabinoid CB1 and CB2 and vanilloid TRPV1 receptors, and a wide range of endocannabinoids.
