Differences in co-localization of TRPM7 in ME/CFS compared with HCs may therefore reflect the known Ca2+ dysregulation in ME/CFS and supported by previous dysfunctional TRPM3 and Ca2+ signaling findings reported in ME/CFS patients [41,42,44,45,46,47,72]. This evidence concerns the gene TRPM3 and myalgic encephalomeyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome.
