Furthermore, a profound increase in ILC3s and a decrease in ILC2s were observed in the skin from psoriasis patients relative to healthy skin, the frequencies of IL-17-producing ILC3s were increased at the expense of ILC2s within the lesioned skin of patients with psoriasis [108], suggesting c-Kit+ ILC2s could turn into IL-17-producing ILC3s during the pathogenesis of psoriatic inflammation.
