The univariate analysis showed that age ≥ 85 years, CCI score ≥ 5, male sex, low BMI, low albumin, high WBC, low Hb, high CEA, high NLR, low PNI, low GNRI, T4 tumor grade, high number of lymph node metastases, poor histological features and grade, and emergency surgery were associated with poor OS. This evidence concerns the gene GSTM1 and neoplasm.
