A combination of ribociclib (a CDK4/6 inhibitor) and a MEK inhibitor (binimetinib) was evaluated in a phase 1b/2b trial in 63 patients with NRAS mutant melanomas, obtaining an ORR of 19.5% (n = 41) and a PFS of 3.7 months in the phase 2 expansion [107]. This evidence concerns the gene CDK4 and melanoma.
