No associations between sPD-L1 levels in urine and pT-stage and grade (low vs. high) were evident (p = 0.09 and p = 0.09, respectively), however patients who were diagnosed with metastatic disease or who developed distant metastases during follow-up had higher levels of urinary sPD-L1, compared to patients without metastatic disease (p = 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene SPDL1 and metastatic neoplasm.
