Immunohistochemical analysis showed that the overexpression of THBS-2 in mice with carcinoma transplants was significantly correlated with tumor growth inhibition by more than 90% (p < 0.001); in the remaining group, the rapid growth of squamous cell carcinomas was observed, reaching a volume of 2000–3000 mm3 within 3 weeks. The gene discussed is THBS2; the disease is neoplasm.
