ETV1, ETV4, and ETV5, which belong to the PEA3 group of genes [27], are types of ETS transcription factors that are known to promote several types of cancer such as Ewing-like sarcoma, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma and prostate cancer [28,29,30,31,32]. This evidence concerns the gene ETV5 and prostate carcinoma.
