The recently published phase 3 VISION trial randomizing patients (n = 831) with MCRPC with PSMA-positive cancers with disease progression after prior treatment with at least one androgen-receptor pathway inhibitor and taxane chemotherapy regimen to 177Lu-PSMA-617 or standard of care treatment demonstrated statistically significant improvements in progression-free survival (8.7 vs. 3.4 months) and overall survival (15.3 vs. 11.3 months) with 177Lu-PSMA-617 treatment [36].
