Our results showed a panel of three downregulated miRNAs (hsa-miR-4516, hsa-miR-494-3p and hsa-miR-542-3p) involved in the regulation of genes associated with viral latency (SUPT16H, TFPI) [58], HIV reactivation (PIM1) [59] and persistent metabolic and immune disorders (ZADH2, CCL16). This evidence concerns the gene TFPI and immune system disorder.
