Currently, research on PARP inhibitors for adjuvant therapy and neoadjuvant therapy, as well as for the prevention of BC, is ongoing—including the OlympiA (phase III) and GeparSixto studies; in the future, the results of these studies will evaluate adjuvant therapy with olaparib for HER-2-/gBRCAm BC and explore the value of a PARP inhibitor in neoadjuvant therapy, respectively [71,72,73]. The gene discussed is PARP1; the disease is breast cancer.
