To unravel a potential correlation between circulating levels of tumor markers (CEA and CA19-9) as well as inflammatory parameters (CRP and leucocytes), which have also been suggested to have prognostic relevance in CRC patients, and the size of CRLM in our cohort of patients, we subsequently assessed the largest diameter of the CRLM in the resected liver samples.
