The indirect drugs can be interpreted as drugs whose targets are closely related to the seeds; in this case, Gemfibrozil targets TTR, CYP2C8 and LPL, which interact with APOE, A2M, CLU and APP (Fig. 6), suggesting that this drug could have a positive effect by affecting several targets which altogether affect the key disease components of AD and hyperlipidemia. This evidence concerns the gene APP and hyperlipidemia.
