In MM, a higher frequency of PD-1, TIGIT, and HLA-DR was observed within the γδ T cell and also the CD8+ T cell population in comparison to the corresponding CD4+ T cells (γδ T cells vs. CD4: for PD-1 p = 0.029, for TIGIT p < 0.0001 and for HLA-DR p = 0.0008; and CD8 vs. CD4: for PD-1 p = 0.0022, for TIGIT p = 0.002 and for HLA-DR p < 0.0001; Figure 3B). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and Miyoshi myopathy.
