These results are in line with Murthi et al. [48] and Armistead et al. [49] who stated that the inflammation is one of the mechanisms of preeclampsia as the imbalance between levels of IL-10 and IFN-γ inhibits trophoblastic invasion that encourages placental ischemia and induces endothelial dysfunction. This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and endothelial dysfunction.
