FGF5 and coronary artery disorder: increase in genetically predicted FGF-5 levels was associated with a 12% higher risk of coronary artery disease (odds ratio: 1.12; 95% CI: 1.08–1.16; p value < 9.0 × 10−12) possibly via its effect on hypertension (1.32; 1.29–1.35; p value < 1.7 × 10−99).
