ALB and acute kidney injury: With regard to biochemical findings, AKI cases exhibited lower levels of serum albumin (AKI vs. non‐AKI, 2.4 vs. 2.5 g/dL, respectively, P = 0.04), alanine aminotransferase (25 vs. 26 U/L, respectively, P = 0.03), and AFP (3 vs. 4 ng/mL, respectively, P = 0.03), and higher levels of BUN (24.2 vs. 15.9 mg/dL, respectively, P < 0.01) and creatinine (1.05 vs. 0.84 mg/dL, respectively, P = 0.02).
