Next, we examined the mRNA expressions of C1S, C2, C3, C5, C8B, CFB, CFI, CFH, CFHR1, CFHR2, CFHR4, SERPING1, MASP2, MASP1, MBL2, C4BPA, C4BPB, VTN, CLU, CPN1, and CR2 as they were also associated with OS, DFS, and PFS with HCC patients though their mRNA expressions were not altered in HCC tissues according to our results. This evidence concerns the gene CFHR4 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
