In the univariable model, cognitively impaired older persons living alone [living alone (+)/cognitive impairment (+) group] were more likely to have a low serum albumin level [crude OR = 3.00, 95% confidence interval (CI) = 1.32 to 6.83] and low FFMI (crude OR = 3.24, 95% CI = 1.34 to 7.83).
