Significant predictors (P < 0.05) included: tachycardia (HR ≥ 100), hypotension (SBP < 90 mmHg or MAP < 65 mmHg), anaemia (Hb < 9 g/dL), low haematocrit (< 35%), metabolic acidosis (serum bicarbonate ≤ 19 mEq/dL), antiplatelet and/or anticoagulant use, active per-rectal bleeding, and acute kidney injury. This evidence concerns the gene GSTM1 and acute kidney injury.
