The mRNAs for IL1β, IL4, IL6, IL-8, CXCR1, IL10, TNFα, TGFβ, IL-17, FoxP3, RORγT, granzyme B, and perforin were significantly more abundant in the CRC samples than in homologous normal tissue while similar amounts of these cytokines were found in two adenomatous as compared to the normal homologous tissues (Figure 2). The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
