The mRNAs for IL1β, IL4, IL6, IL-8, CXCR1, IL10, TNFα, TGFβ, IL-17, FoxP3, RORγT, granzyme B, and perforin were significantly more abundant in the CRC samples than in homologous normal tissue while similar amounts of these cytokines were found in two adenomatous as compared to the normal homologous tissues (Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene IL1B and colorectal carcinoma.
