There are currently many active phase I and/or II clinical trials evaluating the tolerability, activity and efficacy of targeted therapies with B-Raf-inhibitors, with or without MEK-inhibitors, in patients with IDH-wt gliomas of both low and high grade, whose results will be important for a more comprehensive and clearer overview of the real potential of this therapeutic strategy in the next future (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene MAP2K7 and central nervous system cancer.
