Psoriasis patients with cumulative exposure to TNF-α inhibitors for 6 months had more than 11.2% reduction of cardiovascular event risk compared with those who received phototherapy [hazard ratio (HR): 0.89, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.79–0.99, p = 0.048] in a large-scale observational cohort study (Wu et al., 2018).
