XPC, as a nucleotide excision repair gene, is related to the occurrence of various cancers, such as colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, and bladder cancer (Francisco et al., 2008; Qiu et al., 2008; Peng et al., 2014; Zhu et al., 2014; Qin et al., 2020).
