Our results suggest that HOXD-AS2 could act as a sponge for miR-3681-5p to maintain MALT1 expression and support the aggressive phenotype of GBM cells, since miR-3681-5p overexpression or MALT1 knockdown attenuated the effect of HOXD-AS2 overexpression in GBM cells.
