GDF10 and hepatocellular carcinoma: After systematically reviewing the literature, we found that ZFPM2-AS1 upregulated in HCC tissues and involved in cell cycle progression with miR-653 binding sites can reverse the inhibitory effect of miR-653 on the proliferation and metastasis of HCC cells by regulating the target gene GOLM1 of miR-653, and regulate the process of HCC by binding to miR-139 to regulate the expression of GDF10 [49, 50].
