Univariate analysis identified six noninvasive parameters that significantly correlated with the incidence of CVDs: (1) body mass index (BMI), (2) previous or current malignancies (except for liver cancer), (3) CKD, (4) comorbid hypertension, (5) PNPLA3 genotype, and (6) FIB-4 index. This evidence concerns the gene PNPLA3 and hypertensive disorder.
