At a median of 816 days, both natriuretic peptides were associated with all-cause mortality risk in HF patients; for the deglycosylated total NT-proBNP concentration the HR [95%CI] was 1.42 [1.24–1.63], p < 0.001, and for NT-proBNP 1.29 [1.13–1.46], p < 0.001. Here, NPPB is linked to hydrops fetalis.
