F2 and Hyperbilirubinemia: Massive or submassive liver injury following a flare-up of HBV replication or HBV reactivation compromises synthetic, metabolic, and detoxification functions in the liver, leading to reduced albumin levels and ascites, hyperbilirubinemia, decreased PTA, increased international standard ratio of prothrombin (INR), and hepatic encephalopathy.
