Mechanical investigations showed that the targets of DHA were predominantly enriched in the cell-cycle pathway including CDK1, CCNB1, and PLK1 and that DHA could bind with CDK1 and inhibit the tumorigenesis and cycle progression by targeting CDK1/CCNB1/PLK1 signaling, contributing to the suppression of CRC tumorigenesis. The gene discussed is CCNB1; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
