CDKN2A and dysplasia: On consensus review diagnosis, p16INK4a positivity increased even more clearly with increasing severity of cervical lesion grade from 0% in cases negative for dysplasia, 5% (1/19) in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 1 to 69% (11/16) in grade 2 and 96% (23/24) in grade 3 (p < 0.001, Table 3).
