In addition to cancer cells, we identified 13 immune cell lineages, including B cells, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, Tregs, macrophages, neutrophils, NK T cells, DCs, IL-17–producing Th17 cells, and mast cells, along with 4 nonimmune cell lineages (CD45–), including stromal cells, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, and transit amplifying cells (Figure 1B). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and cancer.
