Mapping the deregulated metabolites in cervical cancer to significant S-M paths yielded 12 S-PPI-M interconnections/paths where four metabolites [L-lysine, oxoglutaric acid, tetrahydrodeoxycorticosterone (THDOC), and pyruvic acid] were regulated by eight signaling pathway proteins (BAD, CHEK1, GNB5, MAML3, MAP3K1, PAK2, PPARD, and SPP1). The gene discussed is PAK2; the disease is cervical carcinoma.
