The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology: Prostate Cancer (2021) recommend panel testing alongside genetic counselling for men with high-risk localised, regional or metastatic disease, Ashkenazi-Jewish ancestry, a FH of high-risk germline pathogenic variants; a strong FH of breast cancer, ovarian cancer or PrCa with a gene panel test that includes ATM, BRCA1, BRCA2, MSH2, MLH1, MSH6, PMS2, HOXB13, PALB2 and CHEK2 [58﻿].
