Transgenic mice in which mTECs overexpress CXCL13 have normal numbers of thymic B cells, however, inflammation induced by the administration of TLR3 agonist Poly(I:C) promotes infiltration of B cells in the thymus and increases the susceptibility of severe MG when they are immunized against AChR (86). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL13 and myasthenia gravis.
