In an analysis of patients with ovarian cancer, lung cancer, or stomach cancer, we found that those with high expression of EpCAM shown significantly shorter survival times, suggesting that EpCAM plays a part in the development of breast cancer, ESCA, HNSC, LUAD, LUSC, and stomach adenocarcinoma (Figures 1A–E). This evidence concerns the gene EPCAM and gastric neoplasm.
