Only three of the 13 identified events exhibited higher prevalences in young adult cancers: LATS2 methylation was strongly associated with young adult gliomas (FDR = 7.92E-9), while methylations of MGA (FDR = 0.017) and CDKN2A (FDR = 0.085) were significantly and suggestively associated with young adult KIRP, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2A and central nervous system cancer.
