Jude in the United States and DCOG in the Netherlands, simultaneously described a B‐ALL subtype with a gene expression profile similar to the one already recognized for BCR activator of RhoGEF and GTPase (BCR)‐ABL proto‐oncogene 1, non‐receptor tyrosine kinase (ABL1) but without the BCR‐ABL1 fusion protein, which is known as Philadelphia‐like (Ph‐like) or BCR‐ABL1‐like.3, 4. This evidence concerns the gene BCR and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
