We further explored the expression of hnRNPA2B1 in 72 cases of HCC tissues and paired adjacent normal liver tissues by immunohistochemical analysis and found that the protein level of hnRNPA2B1 was increased in the HCC group compared with corresponding normal liver tissues and that the hnRNPA2B1 IHC score of tumor tissues was evidently higher than that in adjacent tissues (IHC scores ≥10 means hnRNPA2B1 high expression, 38/72 versus 1/72) (Figures 6F and 6G). The gene discussed is HNRNPA2B1; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
